Invite-a-Guest-To-Choir Day: Friday, October 4 (C day)Since some adults may be out and about away from work on election day, we hope you can stop by choir rehearsal to see what we do live and in person. Stay tuned for details on how to park/sign-in at the high school. 

Fall-Into-Choir Night: Monday, October 21 from 5:30-7:30 pm. Performance at 7:30 pm

All Bernards Township chorus members are welcome to join A Cappella Choir for a night of singing, fun, and food!! 5th Grade singers as well as 6-th8th Grade singers from WAMS join in the fun!

Choralpalooza: Monday, November 25

Choirs from near-by high schools join together on a wonderful day of sharing, singing, and learning. There will be a guest clinician who will work with the groups and lead them in a finale where all choirs sing together. Stay tuned on who our guest will be!

December Caroling 

For the month of December, hear the outstanding Ridge HS A Cappella Choir, an auditioned group of 43 singers, come together and sing your all-time holiday favorites. Throughout December, the A Cappella Choir will visit various locations to bring joy to the world as they sing the classics. Our tentative schedule is 

• St. James - Monday, December 2 at 7:30pm

• Bishop Janes - Tuesday, December 3 at 7pm

• Faculty Meeting - Wednesday, December 4 from 3:00-3:45

• Christmas Spectacular - Saturday, December 7 early morning to late afternoon

• Ridge Oak 11am/Library 1:30pm - Tuesday, December 10 (D Day)

• Somerville Caroling Festival - Friday, December 13 - 3-7pm

• Baltusrol Holiday Party - Saturday, December 14 5:30-9:30pm

Board of Ed Meeting - Monday, December 16 at 7pm 

Winter Concert: Wednesday, December 18th at 7:00 pm 

For one night only, come hear all 6 groups perform their best holiday pieces at the Winter Concert in the Ridge High School Performing Arts Center. There are no tickets, the event is free, and all are welcome - especially alumni!

A Cappella Alumni Open Rehearsal: Monday, January 6 from 7:30-8:30

Alumni of A Cappella Choir are welcome to stop in for a rehearsal!

Chorale Performance: Wednesday, March 12 at 7 pm

An event put on by the Ridge Chorale that consists of an evening of singing and a theme. Students will pick this theme during the school year, so stay tuned! Last year, this event was inspired by Empowering Women in the Music Industry and took place in the Ridge cafeteria with music, snacks, and coffee. 

A Cappella's Classical Recital: Monday, March 17 at 7 pm

Come see A Cappella sing classical music of the renaissance, baroque, classical, and romantic eras. It will feature solo voices and solo pianists as well! It is in the Choir room (230) and is not ticketed. 

Spring Show: Wednesday, March 26 at 7 pm

The Concert Choir will choose a theme and will perform solo, small group, and full-choir songs, many with choreography. In the past, this evening has been called Cabaret, Decades, Disney, and Music of the Movies. Stay tuned for this year's theme.

Yale's Whiffenpoofs Come to Ridge: Friday, April 4 during school

The Whiffenpoofs are the oldest collegiate a cappella group comprised of 14 seniors who attend Yale University. We are so grateful that they are coming to visit us. 

Yale University's Whiffenpoof Concert: Saturday, April 5 at 5 pm

The concert is in Pluckemin Presbyterian Church. Come see the oldest collegiate a cappella group perform!

Guys Nite Out Begins: Monday, May 5th

Monday night rehearsals begin for our community all tenor and bass choir. Click on the "Guys Nite Out" page for more details.

A Cappella Open House Rehearsal: Monday, May 19 from 7:00-7:30 pm

Any high school students or 8th grade students interested in auditioning for A Cappella can stop by and see how one of our rehearsals works.

High School Choral Festival: Wednesday, May 21

A Cappella will compete in this NJ ACDA- run event. Details can be found on their website https://njacda.com/. 

Spring Concert: Wednesday, June 4 at 7pm

For one final performance, come see the ensembles of Ridge High School perform their final pieces of the year. In addition to our normal ensembles, the "Guys Nite Out", an all bass-voice ensemble with singers from 7th grade to grandparents,  will also make an appearance to sing the songs they have been working on. It will be a truly amazing night to come together and commemorate the Seniors of the Ridge High Choral Department!

A Cappella Auditions: Monday, June 9th from 3:30-6:30

Any 8th, 9th, 10th, or 11th graders can audition for A Cappella
